What we collect, and what stays in your browser.
Updated 16 October 2026. The Local Bench is published by And/or Labs Inc.
Readership analytics
We use PostHog to count page visits, archive use, tool actions and data downloads. Analytics include the publication, page path and action type. We exclude email addresses, calculator answers, URL query strings and referral URLs. Session replay and automatic form capture are disabled. Analytics use no tracking cookies, and we respect the browser’s Do Not Track setting.
Tools and preferences
Calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you choose to share a result URL. Theme preferences are saved locally on your device. Our hosting provider processes request information to deliver pages and operate the service.
Email and corrections
Newsletter subscriptions are not open yet. If you email a correction, we use the information you provide to investigate and reply. We do not add correction senders to a newsletter.
